Halbis India Alpha Fund has received an award for the Best India Hedge Fund for 2007 at the 5th Annual Asian Master of Hedge Awards.
The awards ceremony, which was held on 30 May 2008 in the presence of over 400 industry participants from around the globe, was organized by Eureka Hedge, the world's largest independent data provider and research house on hedge funds.
The team consisting of Manish Srivastava, Viresh Mehta, Divya Balakrishnan, Nancy Lobo, Shelby Doshi and Sanjiv Duggal runs a USD340m fund which was launched in April 2007.
The fund was also nominated for the Best New Asia Hedge Fund.
